Richard (Rick) Brown, M.S., SPHR-SCP
Principal, Co-founder
Rick has over 25 years of human resource and management experience. His experience spans several industries including: real estate development, beauty, health care, transportation, laboratory environment (medical and pharmaceutical) and a large concentration in manufacturing. Rick’s strengths and expertise include process improvement, cost reduction, leadership and organizational development, human capital planning, coaching and mentoring, performance management, benefit plan design, and implementing human resource systems.
Rick holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management both from Indiana State University. Rick is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Rick is an active national member of the Association of Talent Development (ATD) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
As a professional trainer, Rick has designed and facilitated numerous training programs covering various organizational issues. His certifications include Achieve Global, Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Six Sigma (Green Belt), and a graduate of the Dale Carnegie program. With these certifications Rick has counseled organizations regarding career management and team building to performance management and succession planning.
Rick is active in the Indianapolis community and has participated in Habitat for Humanity and Suite Dreams programs.

Lori Gooding
Principal, Co-founder
From an early age Lori Gooding demonstrated her knack for business and hard work, beginning with a paper route at age 10 and becoming a commercial photographer’s assistant at age 16, photographing high school events such as homecoming, school functions, and the prom.
She paid her way through college by working in various positions, including commercial industrial photographer, bartender, and bottle molder for Bristol Myers. After obtaining her degree from Millikin University in Illinois, Lori was an educator and softball and volleyball coach for nine years.
Lori Gooding entered the commercial real estate business via a small property management company in Illinois where she wore many hats. She then worked her way up from a property manager to Director of Human Resources at McKinley Associates and then assumed the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Lauth Group, Inc., the 13th largest commercial real estate developer in the United States. She received her PHR designation in 2002 from the Society of Human Resource Management, continuing her quest for excellence in her field.
As a HR executive she is focused on business results and is passionate about forging partnerships between HR and Operations. Lori’s strengths include strategic planning, organizational structure, executive coaching, leadership and organizational development, compensation strategies and performance management.
In 2009 Lori Gooding co-launched ROI-LLC to meet the need of small to mid-sized companies who have limited or no internal human resources staff. ROI-LLC provides these companies with the expertise that they need at reasonable prices.
Outside of the office, Lori Gooding had served on the boards of Suite Dreams Project Indianapolis and Washtenaw Area Apartment Association. She is also Vice Chairwoman of the Board for School on Wheels and an active member in several other charitable organization.
